ROSELLE, NJ - Using a mix of strong puck possession, stingy defense and timely scoring, the Summit High School Boys Varsity Ice Hockey Team dumped Westfield 4-1 at the Warinanco Skating Center, the Hilltoppers' third consecutive win to open their 2018-19 season.

Freshman goalie Grant McCormack stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced to record the victory. Senior captain Charlie Collins, juniors Jake Puskar and Tom Pryymak, along with sophomore Greg Sptiznagel all scored goals as Summit peppered Westfield goalie CJ Duffy with 37 pucks on the night.

The Maroon and White allowed a Blue Devils second-period power play goal that knotted the contest at 1-1, but quickly regained the lead and then scored twice in the third period to finish the job.
