SUMMIT, NJ - Hiltopper Girls Varsity Basketball Team sophomore Olivia Lawlor has been named First Team, All Union County. She has also been named to the First Team, All Conference - Mountain Division. Both honors were bestowed after a recent 'virtual meeting' of the conference's coaches.

Lawlor averaged 15.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in 24 contests and notched eight Double-Doubles. During a three-game stretch from January 11-16, Lawlor totaled 75 points and 39 rebounds. She scored a season-high 32 points in a 47-45 loss to Hanover Park on December 27, 2019.

"Olivia had a great year for us. leading the team in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots." said Summit Head Coach Tom Kenny. "She is a tireless worker on her game, and her basketball IQ is outstanding. Olivia's intensity, focus, and leadership capabilities belie her age. Her basketball prowess is second only to the amazing young woman she is, and we are very excited for her final two years with us."

Along with Lawlor, junior captain Annabella Yorio was also named to the First Team, All Conference - Mountain Division, with senior captain Sylvie Goudreau and junior captain Kiran McCormick earning spots on the All Conference - Mountain Division Honorable Mention squad.

The Maroon and White finished their 2019-20 season with a record of 15-11.
