NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Hilltopper pass and catch duo of Sam Roberts and John Fischetti have been named the Salerno Duane Summit High School Football Players of the Game for the Maroon and White's 57-36 win at North Plainfield.

Senior quarterback Roberts looked on point all game-long, efficiently going 6-10 for 157 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Roberts averaged a brawny 26.6 yards per completion.

Among his contributions, classmate Fischetti caught two balls for 43 yards, including an on-his-toes, in-full-stretch grab of a Roberts toss in the second quarter that put Summit ahead by two touchdowns.
