SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team has made it ten wins in-a-row, the latest victory being a 65-46 win over Cranford at the Main Gym. Two big quarters -- the first and third frames -- were the difference as the Hilltoppers jumped out to a 12-point lead early-on and rolled to the finish line.

Senior captain Eric Baier had a game-high 29 points and 7 rebounds while classmate and co-captain Will Hellings put together an 11-point, 11-rebound Double-Double performance as the Maroon and White improved to 13-2 on the season. Summit has lost just two games this season by a sum total of six points.

Arjun Petgrave scored 22 points and Joe Carrea added 13 for the Cougars.

After taking leads of 17-5 and 33-23 at the conclusion of the first- and second-quarters, respectively, Summit took the third stanza 19-10 to carry a near 20-point advantage to the fourth.

Summit is right back on the court January 29, traveling Mountain Lakes for a 7 p.m. tip.
