PERTH AMBOY, NJ - The Summit High School Boys Varsity Swim Team won its third consecutive NJSIAA State Sectional Championship -- and seventh in the past nine years -- by defeating Bernards 98-72 at the Raritan Bay YMCA. Having defended their Public C North 2 sectional title, the Hilltoppers will now face South Sectional winner Lacey on February 19 at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology. First splash is set for 6:30 p.m.
Summit's depth again proved decisive, with the boys from the 07901 leading wire-to-wire and claiming 11 top three finishes including six first-place finishes.

200 Free - Alex Jones in 1:49.85 (first place)
200 IM - Will Hedges in 1:58.14 (first place)
50 Free - Harris Pollock (third place)
100 Fly - Matthew McGregor (second place)
100 Free - Alex Jones in 49.52 (first place)
500 Free - Bayley Buchanan (second place)
100 Back - Will Kasemeyer (second place)
100 Breast - Will Hedges in 58.74 (first place)
