SUMMIT, NJ - Maisie Hiltabrand and Hope Pierotti scored goals, and the Summit High School Varsity Field Hockey Team put a halt to a five-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Cranford on the Upper Turf Field.

Goalie Caroline Sanyour made seven stops for the Hilltoppers, whose 2018 record now sits at 3-8-1. Brooke Bishop scored for the Cougars, who had Sophia McMullan turn aside nine Maroon and White shots.

Summit is right back in action October 4 -- again on the Upper Turf Field -- taking on neighbor rival Governor Livingston at 4 p.m.
