SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Maroon 9U Competitive Fall Ball baseball team improved to 4-0 on the season on September 21 by sweeping a doubleheader versus the Frozen Ropes Competitive Club Team, with nine of the 10 players on the Maroon roster recording a hit and the team piling up 16 hits on the day.

Impressive? Yes, very much so.

But the team's accomplishments were not the number-one headline of the day. No, that distinction belongs to five Summit Maroon hurlers who combined to toss not one, but two no hitters.

For those doing the math at home, that is one doubleheader equals two no-no's.

Will Haggard, Ari Kanter, Will Aimette, Charlie Edgar, and Matthew Smith were stellar on the hill for the Summit Maroon team, collectively throwing more strikes than balls and recording more strikeouts than walks.
