RANDOLPH, NJ - The Summit High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse team raced out to a 13-2 halftime lead, then activated the restrictor plate and cruised to a 15-4 victory at Randolph.

Juniors Julia Szynal -- with six scores -- and Katia Carnevale, who hit twine four times, combined to notch 10 goals between them, while senior captains Helen Louise Johnson (3) and junior Anna Griffith (2) tallied the other five.

Senior captain Amy Martino (2) and sophomore Sarah McGhee (1) had three saves collectively.

Summit, now 6-1 on the season, returns home* to face Chatham April 20. The latest of edition of the 'River Road Rivalry' -- girls lacrosse-style -- is set to begin at 4 p.m. on the Upper Turf Field.
