Imagine Executive Founder and Executive Director Mary Robinson and several members from a team of 60 or so people -- which included about 20 children -- proudly flaunt their new superhero status after they collaborated to raise nearly $25,000 for Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss at this year's Westfield 5K & Pizza Extravaganza.

Many of those participating literally donned the theme of B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Cape) both in honor of Robinson - a CNN Hero -- as well as the fact that Imagine embraces the concept that all children can be the heroes of their own stories if they grow up in an environment that is open and supportive. Imagine’s goal is to be that place that supports children who have experienced traumatic loss -- and to create communities that support children, listen to them, and let them know their grief matters.

"It was great to see the kids having so much fun while knowing they were raising money for an important cause,” said Robinson. “We’ve participated in the run for five years, now, and all proceeds raised go to support the kids and families that participate in our grief support programs.”
