Gretchen Masterfano, Summit Department of Community Programs (DCP) coordinator, and Mark Ozoroski, who was recently promoted to Director of the DCP, join Mayor Nora Radest as she issues a proclamation marking May as 'Drowning Prevention and Water Safety Month'.

The mayor noted that drowning is a leading cause of injury-related death for children under five. Ozoroski announced that Summit will once again participate in the 'World’s Largest Swim Lesson' on June 20 at 10 a.m. at the Summit Family Aquatic Center. Swim lessons will also be offered throughout the year.

The SFAC opens for its 2019 season May 25 at 11 a.m.
