As part of his quest for his Eagle Scout rank, Lincoln-Hubbard alum and current Summit High School student Bryan Fok has -- since last spring -- been working on a project to design, build and install a "Little Free Lending Library" on the L-H grounds
Fok completed this project over Thanksgiving weekend, and the school will today host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the Upper Crescent Avenue side of the school at 3:15 p.m. Please see the communication I sent out to our families earlier this fall. (below)
Lincoln-Hubbard Principal Matt Carlin call the project "a wonderful addition to our school grounds, as it will allow our L-H community to share / exchange children's books, as well as a love for literacy, in another new and innovative way."
In addition, a GoFundMe page has been established that provides more information about Fok, his project and also identifies how others can help make his vision become a reality.
