UNION, NJ – The Celebration of Womanhood Conference, hosted by United Way of Greater Union County in partnership with Someone’s Daughter Inc. is exclusively dedicated to providing young girls between the ages of 13-17 with the necessary tools and resources needed to mature into successful and confident young leaders.

The Girls S.T.E.A.M Conference will introduce middle school and high school girls to non-traditional career paths in science, technology, engineering and media.  Students will participate in interactive workshops, hear from professionals and learn new skills in the STEAM fields.  Workshops will include:

     Live surgery demonstration by medical experts

     Learning the chemistry behind beauty products by developing your own

     Discovering your artistic voice and building your brand

With guest speakers along the way.

You  must be pre-registered to attend this conference.  There will be no on-location registration the day of the conference.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Friday, May 20 or until spaces are reserved.  Students must be registered by a parent/guardian or adult chaperone.

 

 

This conference is strictly for girls residing in the following counties:  Atlantic, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Union.
