Assemblywoman Annette Quijano is hosting her 2017 Annual Happy Hour Back to School Kick-Off. The goal of the event is to collect school supplies for the homeless and at-risk children of the Children's Program at Bernice’s Place, a program of the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless. A list of needed school supplies can be found in the event flyer. Gift cards of $25 are also being accepted, which will be used towards the purchase of school uniforms and shoes. This event is open to everyone in the community who would like to donate. Attendees will enjoy complimentary wine and cheese, and visit the center. Winter clothing for adults and children will also be accepted for the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless. Please place items in a well-tied plastic bag or book bag.
