Dear Editor,

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to the voters who supported my run for the Union Township Board of Education.  It is truly an honor, and I am humbled to be given the opportunity to serve our children.

I look forward to working with the current board and executing the initiatives we outlined when we ran. These include improving residency policies by hiring retired detectives experienced in investigations, establishing public/private partnerships to provide technology to all of our students, reinstating the Saturday Academy and expanding enrichment programs and improving special education and proactively preparing for children with multiple disabilities.

This was our platform. Our message resonated with the voters. With your trust, my running mate Nancy Minneci and I will work tirelessly on your behalf to ensure we always put Union’s Children First. So again, a sincere thanks to the voters of Union Township, my Children First running mates Nancy Minneci and Gary Abraham, my friends, family, church home, and each and every neighbor we spoke with while going door to door. Thank You.

Sincerely,

Mary Lynn Williams
