UNION NJ -   In boys baseball, Quincy Bryant was 4-for-4 with four RBIs in Union's 16-1 victory over Plainfield in Union.

Marco Vitale went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two doubles for Union. Joseph Valentin (3-0) struck out five and walked one over three hitless innings.

In girls softball, Arielle Roman doubled twice with three RBIs and three runs scored to lead Union over Linden, 14-9, at Linden.

Lauren Buchanan drove in four runs and scored one while Sydney Santiago added an RBI and three runs scored for Union, which scored five in the top of the seventh inning.

Ciara Johnson finished with two RBIs and a run scored while Jaime Stulec and Tamia Howell scored two runs apiece for Union, which had eight hits as a team. Larissa Stone drove in a run and scored one while Alyssa Thomas added two hits and an RBI for Union, which scored double-digit runs for the third time this season.

Ashley Paulino drove in four runs and scored two while Samantha Olbrys and Aniston Miller added an RBI and two runs scored apiece for Linden.
