UNION, NJ – Franklin School students had an opportunity last week to participate in an evening Paint & Snack event hosted by the Franklin PTA.

With art teacher Anne Marie Caldarola, about 37 students expressed their artistic abilities by painting a colorful parrot.

“The students had an amazing time painting with the assistance of the Union High School Peer Ambassadors,” said Franklin School PTA President Antoinette Gelin.

“Everyone was properly dressed to paint,” said Gelin, “and some parents even stayed and chimed in on the fun.  At the end of the night, the beautiful colorful parrot was a masterpiece to all.”
