UNION, NJ – Union Garden Club members spent Saturday morning planting perennial day lilies and vinca assortments in front of the Municipal Building on Morris Avenue.  A group of cub scouts lent a helping hand at this year's planting.

“The Garden Club has been planting here every year since 1980,” said club president Veronica Doll.  “We’ve planted a variety of different type of flowers over the years, but this year, we’re planting some perennials and annuals.”

The Garden Club maintains the garden by weeding and watering throughout the summer.
