The mission of The Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Their goal is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members. The Wounded Warrior Project provides unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
One of the missions of Saint Michaels School is to promote the spiritual, academic and personal formation of their students.  The students are encouraged to live these teachings beyond the doors of the school and into the local and world communities. One way to do this is through volunteering and helping others. Saint Michael School will be donating a portion of the funds generated by this race to the Wounded Warrior Project.
