UNION, NJ - A message from Union Mayor Suzette Cavadas was sent to residents Thursday afternoon about the proposed application for a 7-Eleven on the corner of Chestnut Street and Wyoming Avenue.
“I'm pleased to inform our residents that the 7-Eleven application has been withdrawn,” said Cavadas. "Not postponed to another date, as what happened last month, but withdrawn completely.”
Cavadas continued, “I think many of us agree this site didn't work for this application and I'm personally pleased about this outcome. Thank you to all who have reached out and made their feelings known on this issue.”
“Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend, and I hope to see you at the parade on Monday,” concluded Cavadas.
