UNION, NJ – Although Connecticut Farms Elementary School students, teachers and staff couldn’t  participate in their traditional Week of Respect activities last week (such as their annual door decorating contest) students still showed their spirit and support during virtual learning.

Connecticut Farms School PTA ran a book raffle where students entered to win a Scholastic book every Friday. Last week, the assignment to enter the raffle was to submit a photo dressed up for one of the school spirit days.  Each day a different aspect of respect was observed:

Monday: Let respect shine! Students wore their brightest neon or sparkly outfit.

Thursday:  H.E.R.O. DAY. Students helped respect one another and wore something related to a superhero character, or a community superhero (example: scrubs, stethoscope, badge, etc.)

Friday: Patriots are proud to show respect; students wore their  CF Patriot gear.
