UNION, NJ - Connecticut Farms School celebrated national Red Nose Day on Thursday, May 25.
Students and staff sported red noses to support this event, which has raised over $1 billion since 1988 to help children in need around the world. This event was created with the goal of using comedy to raise money to create a just world free from poverty and hardship.
To teach students about the meaning behind this event, students watched videos about children in need around the world to inspire them to help others and to develop their sense of empathy and compassion for those in need. Our school collected $137 in donations to support the Red Nose Day fund.
