UNION, NJ - Hannah Caldwell School was rocked with all the country hits Thursday night as part of Union's Summer Concert Series.
Radio Nashville, a six piece band featuring singers, a fiddle player, a pounding rhythm section, and a lead guitarist, performed the top modern country hits from Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift to Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum.
The concert was moved from outside at Rabkin Park to inside Hannah Caldwell School due to the extreme heat.
"It was a great show with a lot of energy," said Andrea Ascone. "I loved that they played all the latest country hits.”
"The concert series is a summer staple here in Union," said Recreation Commissioner Joseph Florio. "Not only is it a testament to the commitment of the Recreation Department to continue to provide top-notch programs and services, but a reiteration of our commitment to finding exciting ways of bringing neighbors and community together."
Next week, July 27, Union goes to Miami with Nikki Torres & Rhythm Machine Band. This is the ultimate tribute to Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound machine. They are set to play all of Gloria's hits and bring a new level of excitment to Rabkin Park. Concerts starts at 7:30 p.m.
