ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Dancers Pointe entered their best dancers into the Encore Dance Competition hosted at Paramus Catholic High School on February 19-21. It was a jam-packed weekend with the competition starting up on Friday night and lasting until Sunday. Dancers Pointe walked away from the competition with as many as 17 awards. The categories entered ranged from solo dances, duets, trios, and even small and large group numbers. They earned the Diamond level award for 4 of their dances, including their company production number “How to Succeed.”
Included in their 17 awards, they received several special awards. Some including “Packed With Pizzazz,” “Exploding Joy Award,” “Most Entertaining,” and “Infectious Energy.” The ages of the dancers entered were as young as 6 years old and up to 18 years old. Their next competition is March 4-6 and everyone is hoping to bring home even more awards.
