UNION, NJ - A panel discussion is set to discuss 'Ending the Heroin/Opioid Epidemic' for Monday, Oct. 30 at Town Hall.

The panel will provide an update on the national opioid and heroin epidemic and where Union falls and will provide citizens ways on discussing drug abuse with children and loved ones.  The panelists will share resources, services and solutions to concerned families and citizens and empower communities and neighborhoods to prevent drug abuse.

Panelists include Pamela Capaci, Executive Director, Prevention Links, Jill Hall, Student Assistance Counselor, Township of Union Public Schools, Joseph Cryan, Union County Sheriff and a guest speaker, advocate and recoverer.

The event, sponosred by the Township of Union Mayor's Alliance Against Drug Abuse, will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Bonnell Room, 2nd floor, at Town Hall, 1976 Morris Avenue.
