"You all have a calling," said State Senator Joe Cryan.  "Thank you for choosing to serve in the Township of Union.  For all of us who get to sleep better because you're here, thank you."

"What a great day for the Township of Union and for our distinguished Fire Department," said Mayor Michele Delisfort.  "I wish you all the best in your new devotion, because as your fellow more seasoned firefighters will tell you, being a fireman is more than a career or a job.  It's giving of yourself for the health and well-being of others, it's putting all others before self, and it's about committing yourself to being a better firefighter every single day of your long tenure here in Union.  Congratulations."
