UNION, NJ – Township of Union firefighters were on hand at Chick-fil-A’s ‘Fireman Appreciation Day’ on Wednesday at 2319 Route 22 to help raise money for the Saint Barnabas Burn Center. 

Union Fire Chief Thomas Byrne said, “the Union Fire Department appreciates everything that Chick-fil-A did to raise money, at our request, for the Saint Barnabas Burn Center at their ‘Fireman Appreciation Day’.”

In addition to Chick-fil-A menu items, guests and children were able to tour one of Union’s fire trucks and received fireman hats and coloring books.

A check for $1,154 will be donated to the Saint Barnabas Burn Center by Chick-fil-A on behalf of the Union Fire Department.

“This was a great fundraiser for the facility that serves burn victims within our community,” said Chief Byrne.
