UNION COUNTY, NJ - The first of several training classes for anyone at risk of an opioid overdose or their family or friends, will be held at Summit Oaks Hospital - 19 Prospect Street, Summit, NJ on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6:00pm.
The class will teach how to administer NARCAN to reverse a heroin/opioid overdose. Eligible participants will receive a FREE Narcan (naloxone) kit with information and linkage to subsistence abuse treatment resources.
This will be the first of four NARCAN trainings in Union County this spring. Other dates will be published once confirmed.
