UNION, NJ – Golden Rule Lodge #24 held their Community Day on a beautiful day last Saturday.  Brother Keith McKoy, the Lodge’s Worshipful Master, described the event as a way to give back to the community with health screenings, face painting, free food, educators from the Township of Union and the County of Union, as well as the Township’s first responders, fireman and police.  The Lodge Sisters were working a table to give away 175 backpacks to any child at the event.

Brother Tyshiem Dasher, Junior Warden, was this year’s Community Day Chairman.  “This is an annual event to give back to the community to let them know that we appreciate them,” he said.  “This is one of the many things the Golden Rule Lodge does to continue to do good, charitable work throughout the community.”
