UNION, NJ - Union will be celebrating Halloween with events on the 31st on Stuyvesant Avenue from 3:30 - 9:00 p.m.

The events, sponsored by the township and Union Center SID, include live music, a harvest area, goodie bags and outdoor dining, pet costume contest, beer garden, and a film screening.

Masks are required.  Stuyvesant Avenue will be closed for activities and events from Morris to Axton Avenues.

Other Halloween events will be hosted as follows on Saturday, October 24:

The Trunk or Treat will be held in the Jefferson School parking lot from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Registration began on October 1.  The most creative vehicle will win the Big Trunk or Treat trophy.  There will be a maximum of 50 vehicles.  Music will be provided by DJ Klutch Johnson.  

To register a vehicle, visit uniontownship.com/recreation or call the Recreation Department at 908-686-4200.  Jefferson School is located at 155 Hilton Avenue in Vauxhall.

All Hallows Eve-ning will include food trucks, carnival games and rides, and bouncy houses.  The event will run from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Rabkin Park.  Roaming judges will be looking for the best costumes for the costume contest; finalists and winners will be announced at 5:00.  Rabkin Park is located at 1 Swanstrom Place East.

Face masks are required at both events.
