UNION, NJ – Hannah Caldwell Elementary School received school supplies last week from a Union Staples store.
“This donation of school supplies aligns with the PTA mission to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children,” said Deanna Chase, PTA President.
“I was overwhelmed by the generous donation of school supplies by Staples,” said Hannah Caldwell School Principal Kathryn DiGiovanni. “Their donation will benefit so many of our students. It is wonderful to have such community support generated by our Hannah Caldwell PTA.”
Zahedul Haque, Staples General Manager and Ted Ender, District Manager, delivered the generous donation of school supplies to Hannah Caldwell Elementary School on Sept. 22.
The Hannah Caldwell PTA board confirmed that the donated school supplies will be available for each teacher’s classroom. According to Chase, this ensures that when in-person instruction begins again, each classroom will be able to have additional supplies which will help alleviate the mental and financial burden for some of our teachers and families.
