UNION, NJ – Holy Spirit School responded in a big way to Archbishop Joseph Cardinal Tobin’s January 27 request seeking donations to assist Catholic Charities in the resettling of 51 refugees within the Archdiocese of Newark.

Third grade teacher Patricia Cymbaluk and Principal Armand Lamberti initiated a school/parish community drive for items to donate to Catholic Charities in their resettling efforts. Items gathered at Holy Spirit School included household goods, clothing, non-perishable food stuffs, clothing, furniture, etc.

Monetary donations were made by generous parishioners, parents and the school Principal.
