Outstanding Vocal Soloist Michelle Cunningham

Outstanding Vocal Accompanist (World Drums) Uchechi Onwunali

For the third year in a row, the Jazz Ensemble & Mixed Choir were also awarded the Festival of Music Esprit de Corps Award.  The Esprit de Corps Award recognizes participating performance ensembles who display an exemplary attitude of positive support and outstanding personal behavior among all performing groups at the Festival.

Unlike other trophies that focus on the musical achievement based on the scores of the adjudication panel, this coveted prize spotlights the performance of the students throughout the festival experience as they demonstrate their highest level of responsible behavior. Personal integrity, quality character values, a desire for excellence and a spirit of cooperation serve as the cornerstone qualities of the Esprit de Corps Award.

"We could not be prouder of Jazz Ensemble's and Mixed Choir's outstanding accomplishments this school year,” said directors Dr. Grennor and Ms. Schoenberger.  “It has been a pleasure to work with you all year because of your dedication and consistent work ethic.”
