UNION, NJ – Supporters and friends of the Union Veteran’s Alliance Memorial Day Parade came out Friday night to the Knights of Columbus for their  4th Annual Dinner Dance.

Past Commander of the VFW Michael A. Kelly Post 2433 and Vietnam veteran Leo Graf was named the 2018 Memorial Day Parade grand marshal.

 “I thank you for nominating me to be grand marshal for the 2018 parade,” said Graf.  “I am honored and proud and will do my best in this capacity.”

“I’d also like to thank every veteran in this room,” continued Graf, “for making this Country what it is today.”

“On behalf of the members of the Veteran’s Alliance Committee, we wish to express our sincere thanks to all our friends, volunteers and sponsors for their generosity in supporting the dinner dance,” said event organizers Bob Johnsen and Phyllis Monguso.
