UNION, NJ - Union Mayor Suzette Cavadas issued a CodeRED Tuesday evening in anticipation of the impending winter storm.

Cavadas said prediction range from 8 to 10 inches of snow between Tuesday night and Thursday.   "To help our first responders and Department of Public Works with snow removal efforts," said Cavadas, "please do your part to keep the streets clear of vehicles if possible. Municipal lots are available for your convenience. Should the nature of the storm escalate, we will advise accordingly."

Cavadas said as of the CodeRED message, the recycling collection will proceed as scheduled for tomorrow, March 21.  "However, follow us on Facebook @TWPUnionNJ for updates and closures."
