UNION, N J- Union High School wrestler Nick Zuena was an 8-6 winner over Joe Delia of New Providence in the 152-pound final of the Union County Wrestling Tournament.

“I felt my chances were really high going into the counties,” said Zuena. “Being seeded Number Two made me want to win the counties even more.”
Zuena said his toughest match of the tournament was the match against Charlie Buckley. “I knew he would be tough going into the match.”
Zuena, a senior, said he plans on wrestling in college. “I'm looking for the right school to go to during this season.”
This Union Wrestling Season is named for Tommy Duffy who recently passed away. He was the last Union High School wrestler to win the Union County Wrestling Tournament. Zuena added that when he was younger Duffy was one of his role models.
