UNION, NJ – A Union Board of Education member, a township business owner, a Union police officer and the Director of the Union Chamber will be honored by The Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council, at the upcoming Springfield-Union Good Scout Award Dinner.
This year’s honorees include Union resident and Board of Education member, David A. Arminio; Sgt. Michael D. Boll of the Union Police Department; Sharon Patel, owner of Patel Printing Plus located in Union and James Masterson, Executive Director of the Township of Union Chamber of Commerce.
Also being honored at the event is Bruce H. Bergen, Union County Freeholder.
“The event recognizes these outstanding citizens for their community service, as evidenced by their leadership and interests within their community,” read a press release from the Boy Scouts, Patriots’ Path Council, "and for their embodiment of the values of the century old Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives.”
The event chairman and master of ceremonies is Adam Lieb, the director of recreation for Springfield Township and a native of Springfield.
The dinner will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at Suburban Golf Club in Union. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m.
