UNION, NJ – “Jazz Thursdays” are coming to the Union Farmers Market, beginning opening day, June 22.
In conjunction with the Farmers Market and Jazz Thursdays, Union's Special Improvement District (SID) has created a “flavor-filled journey” with a ‘Passport to a Culinary Adventure in Union Center’ program with participating local downtown eateries.
“Jazz Thursdays at the Union Farmers Market”, hosted by the SID and sponsored in part by PSE&G, will include a line-up of a variety of jazz bands, orchestras and ensembles.
“At every Jazz Thursday event, the SID will be there to welcome you and to register you to participate in the ‘Passport for a Culinary Adventure in Union Center’,” said SID Director Fatimah Raymond. “This passport allows you to take a culinary journey to your favorite eateries and enjoy culturally diverse food right here in our Center and win big by getting your passport booklet stamped to be entered into a drawing for a grand prize.”
A purchase of $5 or more is required to receive a stamp in the culinary passport from participating merchants.
“It’s great to see the Center come alive with jazz and see our bakeries, pastry shops and restaurants so excited to participate in this event,” said SID President Joe Leo. Over 20 merchants are participating in the Culinary Passport program.
Eateries participating in the “Passport to Culinary Adventure in Union Center” include:
