UNION, NJ - New Jersey Boy Scouts and Explorers looking for the experience of a lifetime should register right now to attend the 2017 National Jamboree. More than 30,000 scouts from around the country are expected to attend this 10-day, high-adventure extravaganza at the Summit Bechtel National Scout Reserve, located on 10,600 acres in West Virginia.
Although this event is 18 months away, New Jersey’s own Patriots’ Path Council has already filled one of the 4 troops and 2 crews that it plans to sponsor. Because of high demand to participate in National Jamborees – which is held only every 4 years – registration begins well in advance. Interested scouts, parents and adults leaders are encouraged to learn more and apply as soon as possible at https://ppcbsa.org/programs/adventure/national-jamboree/
