UNION, NJ - The Union Recreation Department is still accepting registrations for the Summer Tennis Clinic and Girls Field Hockey Clinic.

The Camps offers two, three week sessions and is for girls and boys entering grades 3 through 5 in September. Session One runs from June 25 through July 13.  Session Two runs July 16 through August 3.  Each session is $300 per child.  The camp day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Early drop-offs and late pick-ups are available for an additional fee. A variety of games, trips and activities are included.

The Tennis Clinic has classes for children in grades 2 through 8, broken down my age and ability.  The program runs Monday through Thursday mornings for six weeks, with Friday reserved for rain dates.  The program begins on June 25 and ends on August 2.  Participants will learn the basics and hone their skills.

The Girls Field Hockey Clinic is a week long clinic, which runs from June 18 to June 22, is for girls in grades 2 through 8 and is geared toward all skill levels. The program will meet in the evening from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Rabkin Park.  Participants will learn basic field hockey principles and game play in the program. Hockey sticks are provided.
