UNION, NJ - Union's 13th Annual Soccerfest was held Rabkin Park on Saturday.    

Soccerfest, hosted by the Union Soccer League, had soccer games all day for all ages along with a cook-out, games and rides.

"We will have over 500 people come to are Soccerfest,” said Union Soccer President Pedro Sousa.  "This event gets bigger every year as Union Soccer has grown.  We have over a thousand kids playing soccer in our league now.”   

Recreation Commissioner and  Deputy Mayor Joseph Florio said, “This event is great.  It shows how big soccer is growing in Union.  One of the things the township is working on is field maintenance and will continue to work with the soccer league to keep the fields in good shape."
