UNION, NJ - In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Livingston School 4th grade students in Mrs. LaRue and Ms. Moore's homerooms enjoyed an afternoon of conversation with Mrs. Ruby Baskerville.

Mrs. Baskerville is the grandmother of 4th grader Simeon Williams and was in attendance at the March on Washington in 1963.  The march was the site of Martin Luther King's historic "I Have a Dream" speech.  Students had the opportunity to learn in-depth about the march and the way that day changed the Civil Rights Movement in the United States forever.
