UNION, NJ – Serious injuries were reported in a Sunday night accident at the intersection of Morris and Green Avenues.

 

Union police and firefighters responded to the accident at about 9:48 Sunday night to find an occupant in a black Honda entrapped in the passenger side of the vehicle, according to Union officials. Two other occupants, the drivers of the Honda and the driver of a pick-up truck, were outside of the vehicles.

 

The passenger of the Honda was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to University Hospital.  The drivers of both vehicles were evaluated at the scene and also transported to University Hospital, township officials said.  Their conditions are not known at this time.

 

Officers from the Union Police Department remained on the scene for an accident investigation.
