Strong women have always been a huge part of my life, from seeing my grandmother work hard to provide for my brothers and I to now, when I have the privilege of serving in the state legislature with so many amazing women leaders of our state. That's why I am so excited to be joining the Borough of Roselle, the UCDC Women's Club and of course the amazing women of the Princess Foundation in sponsoring the second annual Women's Empowerment Symposium, to be held Saturday, March 19th from10am-4:30pm at Union County College in Elizabeth.

This event is an opportunity for young women in our communities to learn about the opportunities available to them in business, entrepreneurship and much more. It will feature many useful training sessions and two inspiring Keynote Speakers, Rochelle Brown and Sonia Armstead, owners of Powerhouse Productions.

To RSVP to the event and reserve your spot now, please visit the Symposium's event website here and purchase your tickets via credit card.

For Roselle residents interesting in attending, the Borough will be providing transportation to and from the event, leaving from the Amalfe Community Center. Contact Donald Shaw for information
