Plainfield 3 - Union 2

Emerson Abarca, Ogechi Ehiobuche and Chris Navarette each scored first half goals in Plainfield's 3-2 win over Union at  Union.  Narvis Bent, Boima Fenfoaquee and Jean Paul Lema each handed out one assist.  Goalie Milton Moreno made five saves. Johnson Onanuga scored both second half goals for Union.


Linden 3 – Union 2

Andres Tabares scored two goals for Linden in a 3-2 victory over Union in Linden.  Matthew De Costa had a goal and Brandon Carvalhoso chipped in with an assist for Linden

Girls Soccer


Union 5 - South Plainfield 0

Alyssa Caggiano had three goals and an assist for Union in a 5-0 victory over South Plainfield at Union.  Kayla Miller-People chipped in with two goals and an assist for Union.  Megan Carreiro made six saves to record the shutout.


Union 1 - Cranford 0

Field Hockey


Newark Academy 2 – Union 0

Adebisi Adetoye and Alexa Madsen both scored one goal and Sanya Bery and Ellie Pitkowsky each had an assist to lead Newark Academy to a 2-0 victory over Union in Livingston.


Watchung Hills 1 – Union 0

Chelsea Semper scored the lone goal off an assist from Justine Francione as sixth-seeded Watchung Hills defeated 11th-seeded Union, 1-0, in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 4 tournament in Warren.  Lauren Trumpore recorded one save for Watchung Hills, which had a total of 12 shots and scored one goal in the first half.  Melanie Krupa recorded two saves for Union.


Mount St. Dominic 2 – Union 0

Caroline Gutowski and Morgan Palumbo each had a goal to lead Mount St. Dominic to a 2-0 win over Union in Caldwell. Bridget LaRiccia had an assist for Mount St. Dominic.

Summit 106.28 - Union 95.825

Girls Volleyball


Union 2 - Roselle Catholic 0

Union won the first set 25-22 and won the match in the second set 25-15.  Shylehn Ebuenga-Smith had 14 points in the victory.
