UNION, NJ – American Landmark Development, LLC, was named redeveloper of the Stuyvesant Avenue Redevelopment Project at Tuesday’s Township Committee meeting.
“This is going to be a complete transformation of over 300 linear feet in the center of town,” said Mayor Suzette Cavadas, “which will compliment and coincide with the transformation with the Stuyvesant Avenue Streetscape Project.”
“This project,” said Deputy Mayor Joseph Florio, “is the next step in the major rehabilitation of our Center.”
The area, known as the Terminal Mills property, consists of 300 feet along Stuyvesant Avenue and the property behind on Johnson Place known as the old Union Center Bank portal.
It is anticipated that American Landmark Development will present their plans to the Planning Board for review in early summer.
