UNION, NJ – A message was sent to township residents on Friday afternoon in preparation for the impending snow.  In an effort to help the township’s first responders and DPW with snow removal, the township reminds residents to keep vehicles off the streets during the course of the storm.  Several parking lots have been made available for use.

The Township also reminded residents to consider the forceful winds that may come along with this storm and to tie down any lawn furniture or large objects.

Additionally, as a courtesy to emergency responders, the township requests that if residents find themselves shoveling snow near a fire hydrant they clear around it.
