ELIZABETH, NJ - The Trinitas Health Foundation will host its annual Gala with the theme “Peace of Mind” on Thursday, May 10. The Healthcare Foundation of NJ will be honored with this year's “Humanitarian Award” and proceeds will benefit Behavioral Health patients.
The Gala will be held at the Venetian in Garfield and will offer a cocktail hour, dinner, and live entertainment. The ever-popular Silent Auction will be held along with the 50/50 cash raffle, and other opportunities to win extremely desirable items. Returning to the podium as emcee is Elizabeth’s own NJ Burkett, Channel 7 WABC Eye Witness News broadcast journalist. And, back by popular demand are The Infernos, the multi-talented musicians, and vocalists known for their fiery energy.
The Healthcare Foundation of NJ, a champion donor since 2000, has awarded 21 grants to Trinitas totaling more than $3 million.
“Nadine Brechner, Chief Development Officer, and Vice President of Trinitas Health Foundation remains grateful that the HFNJ’s generosity doesn’t begin and end with money,” said a hospital representative.
“Trustees and staff spend their time working closely with us to get to know our challenges and help us develop plans to best meet them,” declares Brechner, who works closely with them on projects from start to finish. “Marsha Atkind, her staff, and trustees are all fantastic. They have taken an active interest in our patients and visit frequently. Whenever I’ve gone to them with our needs---both big and small---they’ve always found a way to help. They also question our proposals. And they follow up because they want to know that they have truly helped. They are true partners.”
“Part of the net proceeds from the event will be dedicated to renovating the Behavioral Health & Psychiatric Department,” reports Brechner. “The renovations will enhance patients’ experience by providing a better environment for thousands of patients each year and will allow Trinitas to provide facilities that reflect the excellent care our patients receive.”
In lieu of attendance, the Foundation is looking for support through sponsorship or an advertisement in the online ad journal.
