When asked directly about Lowery's status at Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting, Tatum said “currently the principal of Union High School is Mr. Lowery.”   Click here for TAPinto Union’s article about Prinicpal Lowery at that September 18 meeting.

The Friday correspondence to parents says in Lowery’s absence, Vice Prinicpal Althea Bossard will serve as Acting Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Gerry Benaquista will relocate his office to the high school to “provide support for the high school administrative team.”
