UNION, NJ - The Union Farmers Market will open for the season beginning Thursday, June 4. The market runs from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. every Thursday through September 24. The Union Farmers Market is held in front of Town Hall, 1976 Morris Avenue.
To help ensure the safety and well-being of staff, patrons, and community, the following measures will be enforced:
• All market shoppers MUST wear protective masks or other appropriate face coverings to enter the market; all vendors are required to wear masks and gloves to assist shoppers.
•The market will be limited to 25 patrons at one time.
•Market vendors will be spread out across the parking lots to provide additional space for shopping and to allow customers to maintain social distancing guidelines.
• Access to the market area will be restricted to one entrance and one exit.
•Vendors are being encouraged to follow best practices for good hygiene and safety.
•NO sampling of food products will be allowed.
To limit crowding at the market, shoppers are encouraged to bring the fewest amount of family members as possible and to leave pets at home. Shoppers are asked to stay home if feeling ill and to remain patient while shopping and keep a healthy distance from those around you.
