UNION, NJ – Members of the Union Fire Department helped to ensure the traveling Vietnam Wall received a proper escort when it recently travelled through Union.

The traveling Vietnam Wall is a scale model of the wall located in Washington, DC.   The wall serves as a reminder of the great sacrifices made during the Vietnam War.  On Friday, the wall travelled through Union via the Garden State Parkway on its way to West Orange High school for July 4.

Union firefighters gathered on the Vauxhall Road bridge as the wall passed by on the Parkway at about 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
